The four suction cups at the bottom are firmly adsorbed on the desktop, and will not cause movement when used, which is very stable.
It features a spherical metal joystick and 8 round control buttons for high precision and smooth operation while playing the game. Easy to use, plug and play and easy to operate. OTG is not included. The joystick base has four non-slip bottom pads that securely attach it to the table to prevent the rocker from shaking. Features 1. The button layout again apes that of the SEGA Saturn and orthodox Japanese arcade sticks, with two rows of three buttons on the controller's face.
As you use your thumb to control the face buttons rather than your fingers as with a stick it's impossible to press all three punches or kicks simultaneously, meaning that the only way to trigger Ultras is to use the shoulder buttons. We found this awkward and difficult and it's the one area where the FightPad gives Street Fighter IV players a clear disadvantage.
The pad is light but the build quality is above average. The base and face of the pad uses high-gloss plastic while the back and sides are constructed from textured, soft plastic that affords players a pleasing amount of grip.
As with the other products in the range, the FightPad has been thoughtfully designed. While most serious players will always opt for a stick, for players who do require a pad, in the context of Street Fighter IV the FightPad is far superior to a standard Xbox or PS3 controller. Its size and lightweight feel might put some off but the low price and thoughtful design make it a solid purchase for those looking for a well-featured orthodox pad for their consoles.

Recommended Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown review - imperfect version of an all-time great. Essential Hades review - Of myth and mayhem.
Recommended Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity review - a hugely enjoyable, impressively authentic Zelda spin-off. Street Fighter 5's final character, Luke, is a "major" part of the next Street Fighter game. Nuff Said. I have lived and died by the joypad and refused to make the switch. Let me tell you that if you procrastinate like I did your skills will suffer for a while.
This joystick will make alot more things possible that just cant be done on a joypad. I only had it for one day and I'm already caught up on my RYU techniques.
Newegg has this item cheaper than anyplace on the internet or at retail. I paid no shipping and more importantly I paid no tax. This deal cant be beat. Even if you dont like it when you receive it you can still sell it for more than you paid for it on this site. What are you waiting for people. No need to hype the joystick any further, everybody has read all the reviews Cons: I would say that the stick not being wireless was a con but when it comes to online gaming and precision I'm really not going to complain.
Overall Review: Thanks Newegg I really mean that and keep the deals coming And no I'm not getting paid to hype the company but a good deal is a good deal.. Pros: Everything. The buttons are incredibly responsive, the stick is precise and the design is extremely durable and oh-so-sexy. If you're looking to feel more confident in battles with your buddies or over XBox Live, this is the control you've been looking for.
Very sturdy and heavy with rubber feet on the bottom so this baby's going nowhere during intense battles Genuine Sanwa Denshi parts, it's like this thing was ripped right off the machine and plopped in your lap. The joystick is so sensitive that you're making motions with you hand instead of your arm, and the buttons?
The slightest touch will trigger a response, you barely have to push the button halfway down. Simply incredible value. You can't go wrong with th. Cons: The finish on the artwork is glossy and very prone to fingerprints, smudges and scratches. I'm a baby about the way my gadgets look, so I'm consistently wiping this thing down with a clean t-shirt after use. Takes a little bit of getting used to if you've been playing on a pad for a while.
MadCatz hasn't really been known to produce anything worth your money.. Overall Review: As it's been said before, these do take some getting used to if you've used the controller for a while. The stick is a square gate which differs from the circle gates you find in most American arcade machines and the buttons don't really have that click noise like you'd expect out of arcade machinery, but the initial aesthetics wear off quickly when you start to play and realize just how wonderfully responsive the controls are.
This will truly take your Street Fighter game to the next level.
